Gold Rush Pro Series™ Gold Pan

Features:

one

Fill GRPS pan about half to three quarters with gravel. Hold just under the water and agitate material with small circular motions in both directions. Do this for 10 to 15 seconds with cleaner stream gravel and 20 to 45 seconds with clay or excessively muddy material.

two

The design of this gold pan will have effectively settled the gold to the bottom surface and is ready to be quickly moved into the large trap side of the pan. The next step will take some getting used to. We have all become accustom to using dish shaped pans that are very slow at settling gold to the bottom and you may wish to perform the next step over a catch basin until you get used to the fact that gold is not being lost!

five

With the trap side of the pan away from you start moving the pan from side to side while keeping the material under the water at all times and leaning the pan forward. This will quickly cause the gold to slide along the bottom driving itself into the lowest recess of the trap. Once you become comfortable that your not loosing gold you can do this very quickly.

three

Continue moving the pan back and forth while shedding the worthless material over the edge until the pan is nearly standing straight up. You will have just shed 90% of the worthless material and now you can rotate the material over to the finishing side.

Tap the pan while the material is just under the water to settle the gold behind the rib in the finishing section. Now you can more quickly wash the black sands out.
six

It is helpful to frequently shake or tap the pan while shedding black sands to assure the gold remains settled behind the rib.

Now you can move to the smooth finishing section to clean up even the finest gold.
